We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our thriving school community in Tamworth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mathematics, a drive for excellence in teaching, and a genuine desire to help students achieve their potential at KS3, KS4, and KS5. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver stimulating and engaging mathematics lessons to students at KS3, KS4, and KS5 levels, promoting problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages mathematical understanding and application in real-world contexts. Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, offering constructive feedback to foster growth. Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates students to excel and take ownership of their learning. Collaborate with colleagues in the mathematics department to share resources, teaching methods, and support student achievement. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and school activities. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Mathematics or a related field. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Experience teaching mathematics at KS3, KS4, and KS5 level. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and the ability to teach a wide range of mathematical topics, including algebra, geometry, and statistics. Skills and Attributes: A genuine passion for teaching mathematics and inspiring students. Innovative and engaging lesson planning and delivery. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, staff, and parents. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
