Job description
School Office Manager | Cambridge, Cambridgeshire Leading administrative excellence in a world-class center of learning. We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Office Manager to join a leading secondary school in Cambridge . You will be responsible for the smooth operational running of the school’s administrative hub, ensuring that our staff, students, and parents receive an efficient and professional service. The Snapshot Location: Cambridge (Central location with excellent park-and-ride links) Salary: £35,000 – £41,000 (Dependent on experience) Contract: Full-time, Permanent (Year-round) Software: Advanced proficiency in SIMS or Arbor is essential. Detailed Responsibilities Staff Leadership: Managing a team of administrative assistants and receptionists, overseeing their workload, and conducting annual performance reviews. HR & Compliance: Maintaining the Single Central Record (SCR) to ensure all safeguarding checks are current and managing the onboarding process for new staff members. Finance Support: Working with the School Business Manager to oversee the purchase ledger, manage petty cash, and ensure departmental budgets are adhered to. Communications: Leading the school's communication strategy, including the weekly newsletter and digital parent-engagement portals.
