Job description
Are you an experienced site professional looking to join a warm and welcoming primary school community? This could be an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a well-maintained school site on a long-term basis. • Wonderful primary school based in Merton • Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of the premises • Long-term position | ASAP start Our client is seeking a reliable and proactive Site Manager to join a wonderful primary school in Merton with an ASAP start on a long-term basis. This is a key operational role, ensuring the site remains safe, secure, and well presented for pupils, staff, and visitors. The successful Site Manager will be responsible for site maintenance, health & safety compliance, security procedures, and contractor supervision. You will manage routine inspections, oversee minor repairs, and ensure the school grounds and buildings are maintained to a high standard. Working closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the school. This role would suit someone practical, organised, and confident managing a busy primary school site independently. School Information This primary school is well regarded for its nurturing ethos, strong community links, and positive behaviour. The school prides itself on providing a safe and welcoming environment for young learners. Staff are supportive and collaborative, and support staff are highly valued as integral members of the school team.
