About the Role: A prestigious independent school for boys in Harrow is seeking an inspirational and experienced Head of Drama to lead their thriving Drama department. This full-time, permanent role is available for a September start, offering an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of drama education in a renowned institution. Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Drama department, ensuring a high-quality curriculum and exceptional teaching standards. Lead and manage a team of dedicated drama teachers, fostering a collaborative and supportive departmental culture. Oversee the delivery of engaging and challenging Drama lessons across Key Stages 3-5, inspiring students to develop their theatrical talents. Direct and produce high-quality school productions, showcasing student creativity and performance skills. Manage the department budget and resources effectively. Contribute to the wider school community, promoting the value of drama education and fostering partnerships with external arts organisations. Ideal Candidate: Passionate about Drama and committed to inspiring young performers. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven leadership experience in a Drama department.
