Job description
We are currently seeking a passionate and talented Art ECT who is committed to fostering creativity and self-expression through visual arts. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach Art as part of a nurturing and inclusive school community in Christchurch. • Art ECT • Inclusive and Inspiring School in Christchurch • Equivalent of MPS/UPS Salary • Full-time position • Art ECT role starting January 2026 School Information This inclusive Christchurch school is recognised for its dedication to both academic excellence and artistic development. The Art Department features modern studios, digital art spaces, and a vibrant culture of creativity. Staff and students work collaboratively on art exhibitions, design projects, and community events, showcasing the school’s commitment to holistic education. Role Information You will teach Art across KS3/4, encouraging students to explore diverse media, techniques, and themes. The school provides excellent ECT support, mentoring from experienced practitioners, and opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic creative faculty. Experience and Qualifications • Degree in Art, Fine Art, or related subject • PGCE and QTS • Ability to teach Art to KS3/4 Salary The salary for this position will be paid to scale.
