Your Responsibilities As a History ECT, you will: Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. Work closely with your mentor to refine your teaching practice and receive constructive feedback. Inspire students to explore historical events, develop critical thinking, and foster a deep understanding of the past. Contribute to extracurricular activities such as history trips, debates, and history clubs. Encourage students to develop strong research, communication, and analytical skills. Who We Are Looking For A passionate and committed History graduate with QTS (or working towards it). Someone with a deep enthusiasm for history and a desire to inspire students through engaging lessons and discussions. A team player with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teaching. An ECT eager to develop professionally and contribute to the success of the school’s History department.
