Job description
Location: Bexley Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Start Date: January 2026 Salary: Competitive (Dependent on experience) About the School Our client is a well-regarded independent school in Bexley, known for its supportive and professional environment. About the Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to join the school full-time on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting across the school Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable and payroll Prepare management accounts, forecasts, and financial statements Support the senior leadership team with strategic financial advice Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements Contribute to the smooth running and strategic development of the school Experience and Qualifications Proven experience in a finance management role, ideally within an education or independent school setting Strong accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting skills Proficiency with finance software and MS Excel Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills Ability to work proactively and independently Legal right to work in the UK Application If you are a skilled and motivated finance professional looking to play a key role in an independent school environment, please send your CV as soon as possible to be considered for this full-time, permanent Finance Manager position in Bexley.
