Your Role as a Spanish ECT Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Spanish lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. Foster a love for the Spanish language and Hispanic culture through authentic learning experiences. Use innovative teaching methods, including drama, music, film, and online resources, to enhance engagement. Work closely with an experienced mentor, receiving regular feedback and support. Encourage students to develop fluency and confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Spanish. Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as Spanish clubs, film screenings, and language immersion trips. Inspire students to explore Spanish literature, history, and global perspectives through discussion and analysis. What We Are Looking For A Spanish graduate with QTS (or working towards it). A strong passion for language teaching and cultural education. A teacher who can make Spanish learning fun, engaging, and immersive. An excellent communicator who can inspire confidence and enthusiasm in students. A proactive and collaborative educator who is eager to develop professionally and contribute to department initiatives.
