Job description
A vibrant and forward-thinking Good secondary school in Ipswich is seeking a passionate Art ECT to join their established Visual Arts team immediately . This is an ideal environment for an early career teacher who wants to grow within a department that celebrates individuality, creative risk-taking, and high-quality artistic outcomes. About the Role You will teach Art across Key Stages 3 and 4 , delivering engaging lessons that develop both technical competence and expressive ability. The curriculum supports students in experimenting with textiles, mixed media, collage, painting, digital design and photography. You will receive structured mentoring and be fully supported in planning, assessment, and classroom routines. In addition, you will have opportunities to: Support GCSE portfolio development Curate corridor displays and exhibitions Assist with extra-curricular art clubs Contribute to themed cross-curricular creative projects School Information This is a school with a strong pastoral ethos , excellent behaviour culture, and a commitment to staff development.
