Job description
Join our high-performing secondary school in Ealing as an English Teacher! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to inspire students from Key Stage 3 to A-Level, starting September 2025. You will foster a love of literature and language in a supportive and academically focused environment. About Our Learning Community: We are committed to providing a stimulating and challenging education that fosters a lifelong love of learning. Our English department is a collaborative team dedicated to delivering a rich and diverse curriculum. About the Role: Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3-5, following exam specifications and incorporating a wide range of texts and genres. Plan and deliver engaging lessons using a variety of teaching methods and resources, including creative writing, drama, and digital media. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations. Contribute to curriculum development, participate in departmental meetings, and lead extracurricular activities such as debating societies and creative writing clubs. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong English subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language. Demonstrated experience teaching English to A-Level, with a track record of student success. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
