Job description
We are working with a prestigious independent academy in Brent seeking a creative and energetic Drama ECT. This school treats the performing arts as a flagship department, featuring a 300-seat theatre and full-time technical staff to support student productions. The Staff Culture & Support The school prides itself on artistic expression and professional warmth. You will be welcomed into a friendly office where collaboration is key to the school's success. Technical Support: Work alongside a full-time Theatre Technician and Costume Designer, allowing you to focus purely on directing and teaching. The Role & Responsibilities Subject Instruction: Teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4, with a focus on Stanislavski, Brecht, and contemporary physical theatre practitioners. Production Leadership: Taking a lead role in the Annual Shakespeare Festival and the whole-school musical. Scholarly Mentorship: Coaching students for LAMDA examinations and prestigious youth theatre auditions (NYT). Salary & Contract Details Salary Range: £37,868 – £56,154 (M1 – UPS3 equivalent) Contract: Full-time | Permanent | ASAP Start
