Job description
History ECT required January 2026 Good mixed school based in Romford History ECT to join a thriving and well-supported department Our Client is looking for a History ECT to work within a vibrant secondary school in Romford. The successful ECT will teach KS3 & KS4 and be fully supported through the school’s ECT induction programme. School Information This 11–18 school has around 1,250 pupils and a record of strong outcomes, with 93% achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The History department delivers engaging lessons focused on analysis, interpretation, and global perspectives. The school prides itself on excellent ECT support, with regular training, reduced teaching loads, and collaborative planning time. Teachers describe it as a welcoming and professionally enriching environment.
