Job description
Drama Teacher required to work on a full-time position from January 2026 Good mixed school based in York Drama Teacher to join a highly successful and well-resourced department Our Client is looking for a Drama Teacher to work within a thriving mixed secondary school in York. The successful Drama Teacher will be expected to teach KS3 & KS4. The department is well resourced with a dedicated performance studio and strong links with local arts groups. This is an exciting opportunity to join a school that values creativity and self-expression. The school welcomes both experienced teachers and ECTs, as well as overseas-trained teachers with QTS. School Information Over-subscribed school with excellent behaviour and able students Good mixed school with outstanding performing arts facilities Excellent transport links across North Yorkshire The school encourages student participation in theatre, public speaking and performance festivals. Staff describe it as an inspiring place to teach with a genuinely collaborative staff culture.
