Are you an enthusiastic and ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for the perfect place to start your teaching journey? We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1/KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Barking & Dagenham from September 2025. The Role As an ECT in KS1 or KS2, you will: Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons tailored to the needs of your students. Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment where children feel confident and motivated. Monitor progress and provide meaningful feedback, supporting every child to achieve their potential. Encourage curiosity, independence, and a love for learning through interactive and dynamic teaching approaches. Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and leadership to develop best practices and ensure high standards. Build strong relationships with parents and carers, celebrating successes and addressing any challenges. Take advantage of professional development opportunities and grow into an outstanding educator. What We’re Looking For A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Passion for teaching in KS1 or KS2 and a commitment to nurturing young learners. A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, colleagues, and parents. A proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to classroom teaching. A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to build a long-term career in education. Why Join This School?
