Job description
We are working with a high-performing secondary school in North London (Islington) recruiting for a School Receptionist. This role is ideal for an individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to the school’s "Outstanding" ethos. The School Located in the heart of Islington, this school is renowned for its high student achievement and collaborative staff culture. The school offers a refined working environment where the administrative team is integral to the overall success of the institution. Leadership is highly visible and supportive of all non-teaching staff. The Role You will provide a professional and efficient front-of-house service to the school community. Key responsibilities include: Managing the main reception desk and maintaining a calm, welcoming foyer environment. Supporting the attendance officer with daily registers and parent contact for absences. Facilitating visitor access and ensuring all safeguarding checks are strictly adhered to. Coordinating incoming and outgoing post and deliveries for all school departments. Producing school letters and newsletters utilizing professional software. Salary & Benefits Salary Range: £32,500 – £36,500 (Inner London Scale) Permanent position with a focus on long-term career stability.
