Job description
Are you a passionate and dedicated Psychology Teacher looking for a rewarding role in an independent school setting? A prestigious independent school in Dorset is seeking a talented Psychology Teacher to join their thriving department from January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a forward-thinking academic environment. About the Role: This is a full-time, permanent position starting in January. You will be teaching Psychology across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging lessons that encourage critical thinking, analysis, and independent learning. The role offers scope to contribute to curriculum development, enrichment opportunities, and the wider academic life of the school. We are looking for someone who: • Is passionate about Psychology and eager to share that passion with students. • Has the ability to teach Psychology across KS4 and KS5. • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. • Possesses a degree in Psychology or a closely related subject. • Can provide creative, engaging, and differentiated instruction. • Is a collaborative teacher willing to contribute to the wider school community.
