Music Teacher – Outstanding School in Birmingham (ECT’s Welcome) Are you a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher seeking a new opportunity in an outstanding school? We are looking for an enthusiastic Music Teacher to join a thriving department in a high-achieving school in Birmingham , starting in January 2026 . This is a full-time, permanent position and we welcome applications from experienced Music Teachers as well as ECTs. About the Music Department The Music department is a vibrant and successful part of the school, with a strong track record of producing high-quality productions and fostering a love of Music in students. The department has excellent facilities, including a well-equipped theatre and Music studio. As a Music Teacher you will have the opportunity to contribute to the department's continued success and shape the future of Music education at the school. About the Role As a Music Teacher, your responsibilities will include: Teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4. Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners. Assessing student progress, setting targets, and providing constructive feedback. Contributing to the Music department's curriculum development and resource creation. Directing and producing school productions Creating and maintaining a stimulating and supportive learning environment. Working collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school. Participating in relevant professional development opportunities. Experience and Qualifications Music related Degree QTS or PGCE Music Teacher Salary The salary for this Music Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
