Job description
Religious Studies Teacher required January 2026 Good mixed school based in St Albans Religious Studies Teacher to join an ambitious and reflective Humanities team Our Client is looking for a Religious Studies Teacher to work within a thriving mixed secondary school in St Albans. The successful candidate will teach KS3 & KS4, promoting critical thinking and empathy through a rich and inclusive RS curriculum. School Information This 11–18 comprehensive has approximately 1,200 pupils and a strong academic reputation, with 94% achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The RS department is known for fostering open-mindedness, ethical discussion, and moral reasoning, with lessons that connect directly to contemporary global issues. Teachers describe the school as aspirational, community-driven, and supportive.
