Job description
A highly regarded independent school in Newcastle is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join its successful Science Department. This is an excellent opportunity to teach in an academically ambitious environment with small class sizes, excellent facilities, and a strong focus on high academic achievement. Chemistry Teacher required Independent school based in Newcastle Strong results and uptake in Chemistry at GCSE and A-Level The role involves teaching Chemistry across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 for a suitably experienced specialist. You will deliver engaging and challenging lessons, support practical investigations, and contribute to academic extension and enrichment activities that prepare students for leading university pathways. Experience and Qualifications QTS and a degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject Experience teaching Chemistry at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable) Strong subject knowledge with high expectations for student achievement Ability to deliver effective practical and theoretical lessons Willingness to contribute to the wider life of an independent school School Information This Newcastle-based independent school is known for its strong academic outcomes, supportive leadership, and excellent pastoral care.
