Job description
School Status & Location Sector: Prestigious Independent School, Inner London. Borough: Camden. Start Date: Permanent, full-time role commencing January 2026. The Opportunity & School Profile Join a highly selective Social Sciences faculty excelling in analytical instruction. This school promotes independent and deep thinking across the student body. We are looking for an experienced teacher to deliver our challenging curriculum and mentor high-achieving pupils. Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope Curriculum Delivery: Instruct Economics across Key Stages 4 (iGCSE) and 5 (A-Level), with preparatory teaching at KS3. Attainment Focus: Driving high attainment in complex micro and macroeconomics and promoting critical academic debate. Enrichment: Leading academic programmes and mentoring students for competitive university entrance. Essential Requirements & Benefits Candidate Profile: Relevant Degree in Economics and extensive experience teaching to A-Level. QTS is preferred but not mandatory for the independent sector.
