Job description
We are seeking a passionate, nurturing, and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a successful and welcoming primary school in Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator to contribute to a vibrant learning community where creativity, curiosity, and care for every child are at the heart of everything we do. This permanent position is available full-time or part-time (3 days per week) and can start after October half-term . Experienced teachers with QTS and a strong understanding of Key Stage 1 are encouraged to apply. Role Details: Position: Year 2 Class Teacher Location: Surrey Start Date: after October half-term 2025 Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time (2 days) Salary: MPS/UPS Pay Scale Benefits: Excellent CPD and progression opportunities, company pension, on-site parking Key Responsibilities: Teach a delightful Year 2 class, delivering engaging, structured, and play-based learning experiences in reading, writing, maths, and wider curriculum areas Support the social, emotional, and academic growth of every child in your care Work collaboratively with a supportive teaching team to plan and deliver high-quality lessons Maintain effective communication with children, parents, and colleagues Contribute to the wider life of the school and support the school’s vision and ethos We’re Looking For Someone Who: Is warm, creative, and patient in their teaching style Can create a joyful, calm, and well-organised classroom Is skilled in phonics, early literacy, and numeracy teaching Is committed to inclusive education and every child’s progress Is reflective, proactive, and eager to develop professionally About the School: Located in the beautiful countryside with excellent transport links, this two-form entry primary school is known for its happy, high-achieving pupils and strong culture of care and collaboration.
