Job description
An Outstanding Ofsted-rated School in Islington, Central London, is seeking a motivated ECT of Religious Education to join its Humanities faculty. Job Title: ECT of Religious Education Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Start Date: January 2026 Salary: Paid on the Inner London Teachers' Pay Scale (M1 equivalent), with full ECT support and release time. The Role: The teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (GCSE) RE/Philosophy and Ethics, promoting critical thinking and respectful dialogue. The teacher will be supported in integrating the school's inclusive approach to multi-faith education. Requirements Holds or is soon to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Has the right to work in the UK. A specialism in Religious Education or Philosophy/Ethics.
