Job description
School Office Manager | Southampton, Hampshire Ensuring operational success in a vibrant maritime city. A large and ambitious secondary school in Southampton is looking for a resilient and experienced Office Manager . This role is the "engine room" of the school; we need a leader who can manage a busy front-of-house while streamlining back-office processes. The Snapshot Location: Southampton (Convenient for M27 and M3 commuters) Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 (Hampshire County Council Grade) Contract: Full-time, Permanent Focus: Data integrity and team mentorship. Detailed Responsibilities Process Improvement: Auditing existing administrative workflows and implementing digital solutions to reduce paperwork and increase efficiency. Admissions Management: Overseeing the administrative side of student transitions and mid-year admissions, ensuring all data is transferred securely. GDPR Lead: Serving as the point of contact for Data Protection, ensuring the school office handles all sensitive student data in accordance with the law. Event Logistics: Coordinating the administrative and logistical support for Parents’ Evenings, Open Days, and school performances.
