Job description
A fantastic opportunity for a Finance Officer at a Good Ofsted-rated secondary school in Lambeth! Role: Finance Officer January 2026 About the School This school is a highly successful academy for girls, providing comprehensive education for students aged 11 to 19. Key Responsibilities Process financial transactions , including invoices, purchase orders, credit notes, and staff expense claims, ensuring accuracy and adherence to school policies. Assist with budget monitoring , providing regular reports to senior leaders and budget holders. Maintain accurate financial records using the school’s finance systems, ensuring all data is up to date and compliant with audit requirements. Requirements Experience working in a finance role, ideally within an education setting. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to process financial data accurately. Good understanding of financial procedures, including invoicing, purchase orders, reconciliations, and budget monitoring.
