Job description
English Teacher required January 2026 Good mixed school based in Stevenage English Teacher to join a thriving and well-supported department Our Client is looking for an English Teacher to work within a large mixed school in Stevenage. The successful English Teacher will teach KS3 & KS4 and contribute to reading initiatives and creative writing clubs. School Information This 11–18 school educates approximately 1,250 students and maintains strong academic performance, with 94% achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The English department focuses on creativity and discussion-based learning. Teachers describe the school as inclusive, innovative, and supportive, with leadership that prioritises staff development. Facilities include a new media suite and modern classrooms designed for interactive learning.
