Job description
Become a Role Model - Female PE Teacher Opportunity in Hackney! Our outstanding secondary school in Hackney is seeking a passionate and dedicated Female PE Teacher to join our team. You'll have the opportunity to develop and implement innovative programs that empower young women to excel in sports and develop essential life skills. We are looking for a teacher who is committed to fostering a positive and supportive environment where every student can thrive. Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and leadership. Lead and develop competitive sports teams, providing coaching and support to help students achieve their potential. Organize and lead extra-curricular activities, including sports clubs, fitness programs, and outdoor adventures. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies to increase female participation in sports. Promote a culture of sportsmanship, respect, and fair play. Act as a mentor and role model for female students, encouraging their personal and athletic development. Contribute to the school's wider community through sports outreach programs. Degree in Physical Education or a related field. Experience teaching PE to female students at secondary level. Strong coaching skills and knowledge of various sports. Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
