Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Stafford from September 2025 . The successful candidate will teach Psychology at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 , contributing to a department known for academic excellence and student engagement. This is a full-time, permanent role ideal for an experienced Psychology Teacher or an ambitious ECT who is ready to inspire the next generation of learners. What the School is Looking For: Location: Stafford Start Date: September 2025 Position: Psychology Teacher (KS4 & KS5) Contract: Full-time, Permanent A teacher with a genuine passion for Psychology Strong subject knowledge with the ability to deliver engaging lessons The ability to raise achievement and inspire students of all abilities Commitment to excellent teaching and continued professional development Excellent communication and interpersonal skills About the Role: You will be teaching Psychology at both GCSE and A-Level within a collaborative and high-achieving department. The school places a strong emphasis on academic rigour, creativity in the classroom, and student wellbeing. Experience and Qualifications: A degree in Psychology or a closely related subject QTS or PGCE Experience teaching Psychology at KS4 and/or KS5 is desirable Strong classroom management skills and high expectations Salary: The salary for this Psychology Teacher role will be paid to scale (MPS/UPS), dependent on experience.
