The Role – Year 5 Teacher As a Year 5 Teacher, you will play a key role in preparing pupils for Upper Key Stage 2, ensuring they develop the confidence and knowledge needed for their transition into Year 6. You will deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire a love of learning while fostering independence and curiosity. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver exciting, well-structured lessons that cater to different learning needs. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued. Use effective assessment strategies to monitor progress and provide targeted support. Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork among pupils. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for all students. What We’re Looking For A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent). Experience teaching KS2, ideally in Year 5. A passion for education, with a creative and engaging teaching style. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to motivate students.
