Job description
An outstanding school in Essex is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths to join their exceptional Mathematics department from ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Maths teacher to become part of a thriving and supportive team in a school with a strong reputation for academic success. The successful Teacher of Maths will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level Maths at KS5. The Maths department is well-resourced and led by a highly experienced team committed to helping students achieve their full potential. This role is ideal for both experienced Maths teachers looking for career progression and ECTs seeking a nurturing and supportive school. Key Responsibilities Teach Maths at KS3 and KS4, with the ability to teach A-Level Maths to KS5 Plan and deliver innovative and challenging Maths lessons Use data and assessment to track student progress in Maths and provide targeted support Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Mathematics department to share best practices Participate in extracurricular Maths activities and school-wide initiatives School Information A high-achieving school in Essex with a track record of outstanding Maths results Strong and supportive Maths department with a collaborative ethos Excellent CPD and career development opportunities for Maths teachers Conveniently located in Essex, with excellent transport links Requirements A formal teaching qualification with QTS (PGCE or equivalent) Ability to teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, with A-Level Maths to KS5 as an advantage Passion for Maths and a commitment to inspiring students Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in Mathematics The legal right to work in the UK This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teacher of Maths to join a thriving Mathematics department in a high-achieving school in Essex.
