Job description
An exceptional Outstanding secondary school in Cambridge is seeking a driven and reflective Science ECT to join their award-winning Science department for an immediate start . This is a highly desirable opportunity for a trainee teacher who wants to begin their career in a high-performing environment where academic rigour and pastoral care coexist seamlessly. You will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 , using well-planned and research-informed schemes of work designed to support early career teachers. The department has a strong culture of inquiry-based learning, practical investigation, and high expectations for all students. ECTs receive targeted mentorship, structured developmental feedback, and weekly opportunities to refine practice through peer observation and collaborative planning.
