Mathematics Teacher - Well-Rounded All-Through School –– Hammersmith A highly selective , historic all-through independent school in Hammersmith area is seeking a Mathematics Teacher from January 2026 to focus heavily on academic extension and scholarship preparation. Mathematics Teacher required from January 2026 Prestigious All-Through Independent School with a strong scholarship record Ideal for a mathematician passionate about Olympiad training and advanced problem-solving You will teach Mathematics across all senior school key stages , with a significant focus on running extension classes for students applying to highly competitive Maths/Science courses (e.g., Oxbridge, Imperial). The role involves designing bespoke problem-solving resources and leading the Maths Challenge team. Experience and Qualifications A First-Class degree in Mathematics or a related quantitative field Experience in preparing students for high-level mathematics competitions (BMO, IMO) Outstanding ability to communicate challenging mathematical concepts clearly and inspiringly Commitment to the well-rounded co-curricular and pastoral life of the school School Information The school provides a highly intellectual and supportive environment, defined by its rigorous academic standards and strong tutorial system.
