Job description
A well-regarded secondary school in Deptford is seeking a proactive and dependable Site Assistant to join their premises team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff. About the Role This is a full-time, ASAP start position. As Site Assistant, you will support the smooth day-to-day running of the school site, ensuring the premises are secure, clean, and fully operational. Key Responsibilities • Assisting with opening and closing the school site • Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs • Supporting health and safety compliance • Setting up rooms for lessons, meetings, and events • Monitoring site security and reporting issues promptly • Assisting with deliveries and site logistics About the School The school has a strong reputation within the local community for high standards, positive behaviour, and supportive leadership. The premises team is highly valued and works collaboratively to maintain a safe and efficient learning environment.
