Full-time, Permanent - September 2025 Start Are you an inspiring and enthusiastic Physics Teacher with a passion for igniting a love of science in young minds? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our innovative Science department in a forward-thinking academy in Hounslow. About the School: Our academy is a dynamic learning community where students are encouraged to be curious, creative, and ambitious. We are committed to providing a high-quality education that prepares our students for success in a rapidly changing world. About the Science Department: The Science department is a collaborative and supportive team with a shared passion for science. We foster a culture of inquiry and encourage students to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills through hands-on experiments and investigations. About the Role: Teach Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities. Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including experiments, demonstrations, and technology. Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback. Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation. Foster a love of Physics in students. Work collaboratively with colleagues. Participate in professional development opportunities. Ideal Candidate: Holds QTS or equivalent. Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Physics. Demonstrates a passion for teaching Physics. Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive learning environment.
