UKS2 Teacher - Slough

A thriving primary in Slough is recruiting a committed UKS2 Teacher to join its upper-Key Stage 2 team from January 2026. The UKS2 Teacher will deliver well-sequenced lessons across Years 5 and 6, lead targeted interventions, support transition planning and contribute to curriculum development. This UKS2 Teacher position in Slough blends classroom teaching with coordination of upper-KS2 priorities, and induction will be provided ahead of January 2026 to ensure the UKS2 Teacher is ready for the spring term. Role responsibilities Plan and deliver ambitious UKS2 lessons that secure cumulative knowledge and application. Lead targeted small-group tuition and evaluate its impact on pupil progress. Coordinate transition work and produce detailed handover packs for secondary colleagues. Contribute to phase moderation, curriculum mapping and staff CPD across Slough. Communicate outcomes to parents and support enrichment activities in the upper phase. Person specification Qualified teacher with demonstrated experience across upper Key Stage 2 and proven classroom impact. Strong assessment literacy, confident curriculum planning and effective behaviour strategies. Collaborative, proactive and committed to the Slough school community; available to start January 2026.
