Job description
About the Role An Independent secondary school in Haringey requires a dedicated History Teacher for a temporary position starting in April. The role involves delivering engaging history lessons at KS3 and KS4, and fostering students' understanding of historical events and concepts. We are looking for a skilled History Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities Deliver engaging history lessons at KS3 and KS4. Prepare students for examinations and assessments. Develop students' understanding of historical events and concepts. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. We require a History Teacher who can perform these tasks. Contribute to the delivery of the history curriculum. Organise and lead history-related extracurricular activities. Qualifications and Experience Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in History. Proven experience in teaching history at secondary level. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for history. Excellent communication and presentation skills. We need an experienced History Teacher for this position.
