School Status & Location Sector: Outstanding Ofsted Secondary School (with Sixth Form). Borough: Enfield (Outer London, England). Start Date: Permanent, full-time role commencing January 2026. The Opportunity & School Profile This Outstanding secondary school requires an enthusiastic Biology Teacher (ECT Support) to join its highly successful Science faculty. The school provides excellent lab resources and a highly effective induction programme to support a teacher specialising in the life sciences at KS4. Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope General Science: Instructing all three Sciences at Key Stage 3. KS4 Focus: Specialising in Biology at Key Stage 4 (GCSE) only. Practical Pioneer: Fostering strong investigative skills and ensuring safe, efficient lab practice. Compensation & Benefits Essential Requirements: Hold or be soon to obtain QTS. Relevant Degree in Biology. Salary: Excellent salary paid on the national Teachers' Pay Scale (M/UPS). Support: Intensive, bespoke ECT induction and mentoring programme.
