Job description
About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and experienced BTEC Health and Social Care Teacher to join our team immediately. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in teaching BTEC Health and Social Care. This temporary, full-time role offers an immediate start in a "Good" rated academy. We are looking for a skilled BTEC Health and Social Care Teacher to join our team. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality BTEC Health and Social Care lessons. Prepare students effectively for examinations and assessments. Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. Differentiate instruction to cater to diverse learning needs. Contribute to the development and implementation of the Health and Social Care curriculum. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. We are looking for a BTEC Health and Social Care Teacher with these skills. The Ideal Candidate Proven track record teaching BTEC Health and Social Care. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification. Passion for teaching and inspiring students. Ability to start ASAP. We need an experienced BTEC Health and Social Care Teacher for this role. About the Academy The academy opened in 2007 and is a "Good" rated academy situated near Enfield Lock Station. The academy serves a diverse community, with students from various ethnic and economic backgrounds. A high proportion of students have English as an additional language (54%) and are eligible for pupil premium. The academy is committed to providing high-quality teaching and fostering academic and personal development. Its Sixth Form, in partnership with Oasis Academy Hadley, has high university progression rates, including Russell Group institutions. The academy also prioritises staff professional development, offering masterclasses, leadership courses, and tailored induction programs.
