Job description
Economics Teacher – Link Theory to Finance and Inspire A-Level Success in Micro and Macroeconomics – Barking & Dagenham A progressive secondary school in Barking & Dagenham requires an experienced and dynamic Teacher of Economics focused on linking theory to real-world business and finance from January 2026. Economics Teacher required from January 2026 Barking & Dagenham-based school with an outstanding vocational and academic offer. Seeking a teacher with a track record of inspiring students in Micro and Macroeconomics . You will teach Economics (AQA/Edexcel) at KS5, and potentially Business Studies at KS4. The role involves designing a curriculum that incorporates current affairs, financial literacy, and career paths in the City of London. Experience and Qualifications Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) and a degree in Economics or Finance. Demonstrable experience achieving high grades at A-Level Economics. Ability to run a student investment club or similar extra-curricular activity. Practical experience in a business or finance role is a bonus.
