Job description
A supportive and ambitious primary school in Slough is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join their team from April 2026 . This is a full-time, permanent position , offering a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact on pupils’ learning and development in Key Stage 2. The school is committed to delivering high-quality teaching, promoting wellbeing, and fostering an inclusive environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking staff team, delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and build strong foundations for upper KS2. Key Responsibilities - Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and well-structured lessons for Year 4 pupils. - Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of a diverse class, including pupils with SEN and EAL. - Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets. - Create a positive, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment. - Work closely with colleagues to share best practice, develop curriculum materials, and contribute to whole-school initiatives. - Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupil learning and wellbeing. - Participate in school events, professional development, and wider school life.
