Job description
A welcoming and well-run primary school in Slough is seeking a dependable and proactive Site Assistant to support the day-to-day operation of the school premises. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organised environment for young pupils and staff. The Role You will support the upkeep, safety, and security of the school site, working closely with the Site Manager and leadership team. Your responsibilities will include carrying out routine maintenance tasks, supporting daily opening and closing procedures, and ensuring the site remains safe and well presented throughout the school day. You will assist with regular health and safety checks, respond promptly to maintenance issues, and help prepare spaces for school activities and events. The role requires a practical, flexible approach and a strong understanding of safeguarding and site safety within a primary school setting.
