Science Teacher (Chemistry Specialist) Location: Lambeth Contract: Full-Time, Permanent A thriving secondary school in Lambeth seeks a passionate and skilled Science Teacher , with a specialism in Chemistry, to join their successful Science department. The appointed Science Teacher will have a passion for Chemistry. The Role: Primarily teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3, 4, and ideally Key Stage 5 (A-Level Chemistry). Contribute to the teaching of general Science at Key Stage 3. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain accurate student records. Create a positive, safe, and inclusive laboratory/classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues within the Science department. Contribute to curriculum development. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians. Adhere to all school safeguarding policies. The Ideal Candidate: The Science Teacher will be Qualified: Possess QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent. Experienced: Demonstrate a proven track record of teaching Chemistry. Passionate: Have a genuine enthusiasm for Chemistry and a commitment to student success. Skilled: Display excellent classroom management and communication abilities.
