Year 5 Teacher Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of Year 5 students. Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love for learning. Encourage students to take responsibility for their learning and develop their critical thinking skills. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and deliver a high standard of education. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities as required. Year 5 Teacher Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly in Year 5. Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners.
