The Opportunity A thriving 11–18 academy in Derbyshire is inviting applications for a passionate Art Teacher to join its creative arts faculty from January 2026. This full-time, permanent role involves teaching Art across Key Stages 3–5, including guiding students through GCSE and A-Level coursework. You will help shape a vibrant art curriculum and encourage students to explore visual expression and conceptual thinking. You’ll lead and supervise GCSE and A-Level coursework, supporting students in developing long-term projects and independent portfolios. You’ll collaborate with colleagues in the arts faculty on whole-school arts initiatives (e.g. themed exhibitions, visual installations, cross-curricular art links). You may lead an art club, coordinate gallery or museum trips, and support events that give student work a public platform. The role may also involve leading display projects across the school, mentoring younger staff, or contributing to departmental improvement plans.
