As part of their ongoing expansion of support services, they are now seeking an enthusiastic and organised School Administrator to join their administrative team. Role Overview The School Administrator will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the school’s daily operations. This is a front-facing, highly administrative role requiring exceptional organisation, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include: Acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external stakeholders Managing incoming calls, emails, and enquiries with professionalism Maintaining accurate student records and supporting with data entry across school systems Preparing documentation, letters, reports, and communications for staff and SLT Supporting staff with administrative tasks including photocopying, filing, calendar scheduling, and meeting coordination Handling attendance and safeguarding documentation (training provided) Assisting with admissions processes, open events, parent evenings, and school functions Ensuring compliance with GDPR and confidentiality requirements Maintaining a calm, welcoming office environment and representing the school with professionalism at all times This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in high-quality administration and enjoys being at the centre of a busy school community. Administrative Team Information You will join a friendly and experienced admin team overseen by the Office Manager. The office operates collaboratively, with shared responsibilities and strong support structures in place. Systems include SIMS/Arbor, CPOMS, Google Workspace, and MIS platforms; full training is provided where needed. The team works closely with pastoral, safeguarding, and senior leadership, providing a varied working environment with opportunities for professional growth. Staff describe the team culture as supportive, positive, and well-structured. Candidate Requirements Strong administrative experience (education sector desirable) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy office Confidence using Microsoft Office and school MIS systems (training available) High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads A professional, warm, and approachable manner Commitment to safeguarding and school values Application To apply, please send your CV as soon as possible.
