Job description
Are you an inspiring Psychology teacher ready for your next challenge? An excellent secondary school in Coventry is seeking a dedicated Psychology Teacher to join their successful and forward-thinking Social Sciences department from September . This is a full-time, permanent position , ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to make a real impact in a supportive school community. Key Details: Position: Psychology Teacher Start Date: September Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Teaching: GCSE (KS4) and A-Level (KS5) Psychology Location: Coventry Salary: MPS/UPS (commensurate with experience) About the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Psychology to KS4 and KS5 students , delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that promote curiosity, critical thinking, and academic achievement. You will play a key role in shaping the learning experience of students as they explore key psychological concepts, research methods, and real-world applications of the subject. About the School: This Coventry-based school is known for its strong pastoral care , high academic expectations , and collaborative ethos . Students are motivated and behaviour is excellent, allowing staff to focus on high-quality teaching and learning. The Social Sciences department is supportive and well-resourced, with a history of strong student outcomes at both GCSE and A-Level. What We’re Looking For: A passion for Psychology and a desire to make the subject engaging and relevant. Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Psychology. A degree in Psychology or a closely related subject. QTS or PGCE with a specialism in secondary education. A commitment to inclusive practice , student wellbeing, and academic excellence.
