Job description
A well-regarded secondary school in Taunton is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Photography Teacher to join its Art and Design department. This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist passionate about visual storytelling, digital media, and inspiring students through creative practice. Photography Teacher required Secondary school based in Taunton Supportive and creative Arts department The role involves teaching Photography across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to contribute to KS5 depending on experience. You will deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons, support portfolio development, and encourage students to explore creative techniques using both digital and traditional approaches. Experience and Qualifications QTS and a degree in Photography, Art & Design, or a related subject Experience teaching Photography at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable) Strong knowledge of digital photography, editing software, and visual composition Ability to inspire creativity while maintaining high classroom standards Willingness to contribute to exhibitions and enrichment activities School Information This Taunton-based school is known for its positive ethos, supportive leadership, and commitment to creative subjects.
