Job description
An Independent School in Newcastle requires a permanent, full-time Teacher of Drama, starting January 2026. Join a thriving Arts faculty dedicated to high-level theatrical performance and academic study. About the School This established Independent School is renowned in the North East for its exceptional facilities and highly successful Drama programme, with a dedicated theatre and studio spaces. The school encourages practical skills, theoretical study, and academic excellence up to A-Level. The school provides a clear, professional culture focused on staff wellbeing. Responsibilities You will deliver engaging and advanced instruction across Key Stages 3, 4 (iGCSE), and 5 (A-Level). Your core focus is driving high attainment in both practical performance and sophisticated critical theatrical analyse. You must direct and contribute to the extensive extra-curricular programme of school productions and workshops. Requirements You must hold a Degree in Drama or a related field.
