Job description
Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher looking to begin your teaching career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment? A highly regarded school in Birmingham is seeking a motivated DT Teacher to join their thriving Design & Technology department. ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply, and full support will be provided. About the Role: This position is full-time and permanent, starting January 2026 . You will teach DT across Key Stages 3 and 4 and will have the opportunity to deliver a curriculum that includes product design, resistant materials and practical workshop skills. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that encourage creativity, independence and problem-solving. About the School: The school is recognised for excellent behaviour, high academic standards and exceptional pastoral care. The DT department is well-resourced, offering modern workshops, specialist machinery and strong technician support. The school promotes professional growth and offers robust training and mentorship for Early Career Teachers.
