Job description
Economics Teacher - Lambeth - Profile of an Opportunity The School: An Outstanding secondary school in the heart of Lambeth , known for its academic excellence and supportive community. The Department: A thriving Humanities department with a strong focus on Economics, collaborative colleagues, and well-resourced classrooms. The Role: Economics Teacher (Full-time, Permanent, MPS/UPS ) Key Stages: Primarily 4 and 5. Focus: Delivering engaging and challenging Economics lessons that meet curriculum requirements and prepare students for examinations (GCSE and A-Level). Responsibilities Include: Planning and teaching high-quality lessons. Assessing student progress and providing feedback. Contributing to curriculum development. Fostering critical thinking and analytical skills. Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Work in a popular Outstanding school The Ideal Candidate: You! Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Economics or a closely related field. Experience: Proven track record of teaching Economics at the secondary level, with experience teaching A-Level. Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for Economics and the ability to inspire students. Skills: Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
