Job description
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Computing Teacher passionate about inspiring students? A well-regarded secondary school in Bristol is seeking a dynamic and capable Computing Teacher to join their thriving department from January 2026 or sooner. School Information: This is a popular 11–18 co-educational school with a strong family and community ethos. The school is committed to providing a supportive, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment where students can achieve academic excellence. Students enjoy a safe and inclusive atmosphere, and the school is proud of its consistently strong results and positive culture. About the Computing Department: The Computing Department is a collaborative and supportive team dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of Computing. Students consistently achieve excellent results, and the department is looking for a teacher who can continue this success. The school encourages innovation in teaching practices and provides opportunities for ongoing professional development. Responsibilities: • Teach Computing across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 as an option. • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge learners. • Assess and monitor student progress effectively. • Contribute to curriculum planning and development. • Provide pastoral support and take on form tutor responsibilities. Qualifications and Experience: • Degree in Computing or a related subject. • PGCE or QTS. • Experience teaching Computing at KS3/4. • ECTs are encouraged to apply.
